Messages for Arnold was supposed to be a concept album. But the concept really died off because I don't know what I'm doing. At least I wanted it to be more mellow which I did. It's supposed to be about a kid that goes missing, named Arnold. Track by track commentary: Track one: StartUpMorning. I was really in a mood to make tracks that sounded like the start of an album. So there was this one and a couple other demos. The sounds at the beginning is just me randomly reaching my hand onto a shelf behind me and messing with things. Of course on that shelf was a mouse. It sounds like a computer room and I like that. Track two: Listen. I don't really think there's much lore behind this track. It was just a very spacey ambient song I made. Track Three: ano. I think this is the oldest track on here maybe made around Nostalik or before. I made it a little longer and sound better and just put it on there cause it sounded mellow. Track four: I'llWaitInTheBoat. My least favorite track. It 'has' lyrics but they sucked so I made then unrecognizeable. The song was supposed to be about how I thought it was so easy for other people to do normal things. Like talk to people, or have a normal gender. There was supposed to be an accompaning painting to go with this but I never finished it. Track five: MessagesForArnold 1+2. This track was actually split into two songs at first. There's two seperate project files for them. I Decided to put them together cause they were short on their own and they're pretty much the same song. In this track I wanted to get the protaganists feelings out for what they wanted to say to Arnold. There's sad tones because they miss Arnold and heavier tones because Arnold going missing has taken a lot out of them. Track six: 2Months. Arnold has been missing for 2 months that the story of the name. The real story behind the name is I tried to save this as 'untitled' but 'untitled' already existed and I made 'untitled' 2 months prior. The strange crunchy noises are from when I left my low quality mic on for about 8 minutes at home and got a bunch of weird noises to use. Track seven: SensoryDeprevation. For some reason this track breaks my friends phone speakers when they play it out loud. Not sure what I concocted to make that. I made the name SensoryDeprevation before I made the song. I just wanted a really ambient song.
